Twelve Representatives - professors and teaching staff - from the universities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia participated in the 5 days teacher training activities from November 11 to November 15 this year within the frames of ERASMUS + project “ SMARTCITY: Innovative Approach Towards a Master Program. ”
It was teachers training in e-learning. EEF Institute of Industrial Electronics and Electrical Engineering staff organized this training.
The participants had a manifold schedule - they had master class in application of virtual laboratory at RTU, listened presentations of study project results by Mongolian students. They discussed an opportunities to sign cooperation agreement and organize double degree study program. They also exchanged with their own experience in e-learning.
Many interesting excursions were organized for the foreign colleagues - visit to RTU laboratories, to RTU Engineering High School, the Faculty of E-Learning Technologies and Humanities. As a special event, a visit to Liepaja contained excursions to RTU Liepaja Campus and Liepaja City Municipality campus.
The project will last until November 2021 and include activities in the development of new curricula and teaching materials and pportunities of organization of double degree study program in co-operation with RTU.
